The trip

Four days in the island’s green heart.

No beaches, no clifftop bars — this one is for the Bali of water temples, mist, waterfalls and rice. You'll base in Ubud and climb gradually north through Munduk's waterfall country to the twin lakes and the cool highland air.

It's the slowest-feeling trip we run, and the one our guides argue over leading. Expect long lunches with a view, walks through villages that don't see many visitors, and more shades of green than you knew existed.

Straight from the airport into the Ubud valley. After lunch, an easy walk on the Campuhan ridge as the light softens — a gentle first taste of the green to come.

The terraces at opening time, a purification bath at Tirta Empul if you'd like one, and an optional jungle swing for the photo. Afternoon free for spas or the market.

Can we change the itinerary?
Completely. This is a starting point — add days, swap stops, upgrade hotels or slow the whole thing down. We'll rework it with you before you pay anything.
What standard are the hotels?
The base price uses lovely 4-star boutique stays with pools. Tell us your budget and we'll quote anything from simple guesthouses to 5-star resorts and private villas.
How and when do we pay?
No big upfront deposit. We confirm everything on WhatsApp, hold your dates, and you settle by bank transfer or card close to arrival. Hotels are pre-booked by us.
Is this good for families?
Yes — we run it for families all the time with child seats, gentler days and family rooms. If you're travelling with kids, take a look at our Family Bali package too.
