Overview

Bali's best white water, gentle enough for first-timers.

The Ayung is Bali's longest river and its rapids are the sweet spot — lively enough to be a proper adventure, gentle enough for beginners and older kids. After a safety briefing you'll push off with a trained river guide steering every raft.

Between the rapids the gorge is pure jungle — vine-draped cliffs, hidden carvings and side-waterfalls you can paddle right under. It's about two hours on the water, then a climb out to a hot buffet lunch and a well-earned rest.
