These terms apply to every tour, package and service booked with Tirta Bali, whether you book by WhatsApp, email or through this website. Booking with us means you accept them — so we’ve kept them short and fair.
Who you’re booking with
Your agreement is with [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], registered in Indonesia ([COMPANY REGISTRATION NUMBER]), trading as Tirta Bali ("we", "us"). "You" means the person making the booking, who confirms they are at least 18 and books on behalf of everyone in their group.
Bookings & confirmation
A booking is confirmed when we send you a written confirmation (usually on WhatsApp or email) with the date, itinerary, pickup time and price. Until then, itineraries we discuss are proposals. Please check the confirmation details — especially pickup location and times — and tell us straight away if anything is wrong. For multi-day packages, hotel bookings are confirmed subject to availability at the time we receive your go-ahead.
Prices & payment
Prices are quoted per person or per car as stated on each tour page, include the items listed under “What’s included”, and exclude anything listed as not included. Day tours require no deposit: you pay on the day, in cash (IDR) or by [PAYMENT METHODS]. Multi-day packages may require a deposit of [DEPOSIT %] to secure hotels; we’ll always tell you before you commit. Prices can change for future bookings, but never for a booking we’ve already confirmed.
Cancellations & refunds
- Day tours — cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before pickup. Inside 24 hours, or if you’re not at the pickup point, we may charge up to [50–100%] of the tour price.
- Multi-day packages — cancellation terms follow the hotels and operators in your itinerary; we set them out in your confirmation before you pay anything.
- Cancellations by us — if we have to cancel (weather, safety, sea conditions), you choose: a full refund of anything paid, or a rebooked date. Boat crossings and sunrise treks are always subject to conditions; your guide’s safety call is final.
- Refund processing — refunds are made within [14] days, by the same method you paid.
Changes by us
Bali is a living island: ceremonies close roads, weather closes waterfalls, swell cancels boats. If a stop on your itinerary becomes unavailable, we’ll substitute the closest sensible alternative and tell you as early as we can. Changes like these don’t entitle a refund where the day as a whole is delivered — but we’ll always aim to over-deliver rather than substitute down.
Health, safety & insurance
Some of our activities — volcano trekking, rafting, ATV riding, cliff jumping, snorkelling — are physically demanding and carry inherent risks. You’re responsible for telling us about medical conditions, pregnancy, injuries or limited swimming ability before the tour, for following your guide’s safety instructions, and for supervising children in your group at all times. Travel insurance covering your planned activities is required for active tours and strongly recommended for all bookings. Guides may refuse participation in an activity (without refund for that activity) where they judge it unsafe — including for intoxication.
Liability
We run every tour with licensed drivers, maintained vehicles and experienced local guides, and we accept liability for damage caused by our proven negligence. We are not liable for: events outside our reasonable control (force majeure), the acts of third-party suppliers such as hotels, boat operators and activity providers (whose own terms apply), your own decisions against guide advice, or loss of valuables brought on tour. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indonesian law. Our total liability for any booking is capped at the price paid for that booking.
Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, and disputes are subject to the courts of [Denpasar, Bali]. We’d much rather fix a problem than argue about it — if anything on your tour isn’t right, tell your guide in the moment or message +62 823 1111 0828 / hello@tirtabalitours.com, and we’ll make it right.
