Overview

The island everyone screenshots — done without the queues.

An early fast boat from Sanur gets us onto Nusa Penida ahead of the main rush. With a private driver and a 4WD sorted for the island's rough roads, you'll reach Kelingking when the light is still kind and the famous viewpoint isn't shoulder to shoulder.

From there it's Angel's Billabong, Broken Beach and a swim and snorkel in Crystal Bay, all paced so you're never waiting in line for the next photo. We handle the boat tickets, the car and the timing — you just bring a swimsuit.

Good to ask

Nusa Penida West — your questions

Is the boat crossing rough?
It can be choppy in the afternoon, which is why we cross early. If you're prone to seasickness, take a tablet 30 minutes before — your guide will remind you.
How much walking is there?
Mostly short walks, but Kelingking and Billabong have steep stairs. You can admire Kelingking from the top without descending.
Can we actually swim at Crystal Bay?
Yes — it's the calmest spot and great for snorkelling. We bring gear; currents elsewhere on the island can be strong, so we pick safe spots.
What if the boats are cancelled?
If the crossing is called off for weather we'll rebook for free or switch you to a great mainland day instead.
How do we pay?
No prepayment — reserve with a message and pay on the day. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before.
